What is your favourite Stone’s album?

The Rolling Stones, obviously, one of the all time greatest bands ever. Yes, they started as a covers band (so did many others particularly in that era), and some say that they've gone on too long, but the demand is still there, but they rank right up there in terms of the greats.

So, what is your favourite album by them? There are a lot to choose from.

I'm going Exile on Main St. But, could have picked a few from that period.

The run of albums from Beggars Banquet through to Exile are excellent but my favourite is Some Girls. It has a mix of disco/funk, blues and rock that still sounds fresh.

I am also looking forward to their new album which is out next month, I’m particularly interested in their cover of one of my favourite Amy Winehouse songs.

I’ve been a Stones obsessive since I was 10 years old, I love them.

Worthing

For me, as a heavy rock fan, Dirty Work is their heaviest album. The others with Mick Taylor are decent.

The answer is Let it Bleed. There is no debate.

Now, this will get some hate probably, there's the obvious ones you have mentioned and I love. But I have a particular enjoyment for A Bigger Bang, Beggars Banquet and Blue and Lonesome.

I also liked the single Living In A Ghost Town in covid.

Anyone else enjoy SuperHeavy? The super group with Mick Jagger, Joss Stone, AJ Rahman, Damien Marley and Dave Stewart?

“The Best of the Rolling Stones”

On a more serious note, Exile on Main Street. One of those albums that took a few listens before it totally clicked for me.

Blue and Lonesome gets played at least once a week in my house.

Yes that's one of my favourites. I also like Hackney Diamonds.

It switches between Exile, Sticky Fingers and Let it Bleed (with honourable mentions to Between the Buttons and Tattoo You).

My husband has been a Stones fan since he was a pre-teen and has just about everything they have ever released. I asked him and he said "Its a difficult choice between Let It Bleed,Exile On Main Street and Sticky Fingers" but he settled for Sticky Fingers.
