Thread for people who don't enjoy going to the gym. You can do activities that don't involve the gym. Personally I get bored . If I'm going to be active I'd rather get buff doing something I enjoy. |

"I cant stand the gym. I would much rather go hiking or swimming. I do do a bit of weights at home though."
Id do calisthenics but I loft alot of heavy metal at work. Surfing, and rock climbing for me.
Generally don't work out as I have a fast metabolism. Find it abit vane. |

It's not that i don't enjoy it, i lack the motivation because I have no idea what I'm doing. Stepping into a gym full of people who know how everything works and they have their little routines is daunting.
I secretly do like being a couch potato though! |

Plenty of people who don't know what they are doing in gyms. Some people like to pretend they know what they are doing.
Find a routine online (YouTube, Tiktok etc) and copy it in the gym.
Or if you have the money, invest in a personal trainer for 6 months. You'll learn everything you need to and build a solid foundation.
Or go with a friend who's been in a gym for a while. |

Just do it at home. Fuck paying. There's enough YouTube and other source videos. If you need equipment it's cheap enough. |

I could never be one of those people who work out at home. When I'm in the house I'm in full couch potato mode. |

I wish I enjoyed sofa time ! I only enjoy it if I'm with my daughter watching a movie or messing about..or with a lover having quality conversations, maybe a friend catching up. Otherwise you will rarely find me lounging around on the couch. I'm a doer, out and about and prefer bed with a book to couch.

"Does walking to the snack cupboard and back multiple times count as a workout?
Yes.
I'm nailing it then 💪
I reckon I do my 10,000 steps easily to the kitchen and back! 🤣"
Same my kitchen is two floors down right now. |

We should incorporate some vigorous sex into it to burn some calories and allow room for more snacks! |

Oh….and vigorous masturbation for the forearms 💪🏻💪🏻😜
Have you ever tried combining your past times? 🤔"

What if the snack cupboard was in someone else’s house and you took it back to the bedroom? 😉 |

Aha yeah .. I play my guitar on the couch. It's not very couch potato though is it?
My image of couch potato is vegging doing nothing or watching TV. |

I mean I played guitar for like 16 hours one time. Could probably be abit more proactive with the day but I like think I'm alright at playing. |
