So this is another brown 💩 stain to my fab experience... here's the full story...
Last week I get a message from a woman, with a very polite approach..." can I add you so I can see your updates, your profile is gorgeous " , she says...and I gratefully accept.
Two days later out of nowhere she sends me another message..."A bit of harmless fun...could you leave me a filthy verification...you will get plenty of fans after"...🤨🤔🧐...👉🚩👀. So me confused I ask "What would I be verifying you regarding, since we haven't met face to face?". She than goes on to say ..." Yeah I know but who cares, you're one of the hottest guys on fab...just how we spent a filthy hot night togheter " .... 😶😐🤯. At that point I respectfuly decline as lying goes against my morals.
For almost 3 days she doesn't say anything and than drops this message ..." lol OK...it's just a sex site not county court" . Now that did infuriate me...gaslighting + passive aggressiveness just makes my blood boil. So ultimately I tell her I find dishonesty disgusting and block her...and that should have been all, but here I am days later and this still creeps in the back of my head. I guess I just needed to get it off my chest...but the dishonest approach some people have on this site, with the pathetic excuse of just being "a sex site", does amaze me. If you're willing to lie about verifications, what else are you willing to lie about  . I do wonder how many guys on fab would have agreed, had they been in this situation 🤔. Madness!! This place is pure madness 🤪 |

On my old account i would login somedays to find a verification from someone i had never met and a message saying, hey i've verified you, as if i would think it was wonderful that someone i had never met was lying and saying they had. Its even more frustrating when you cant delete them. Nothing strange as folk though. Thats why i take some veris with a pinch of salt. |

Obviously it's someone / or a bot looking to set up a fake profile as genuine. You did the right thing, but also report it to admin.
I can see some guys here might have fallen for the honey / horny trap, but there's a reason why verifications exist - so people can be verified as genuine through webcams or physical meeting in person.
The means in which you someone tried to coerce a verification may seem innocent, but the end result could have been malicious for someone. Don't feel bad about doing the right thing! |

This is why verifications are a bit pointless.
I messaged a woman on here who had accumulated around 20 veris.
Suggesting she was a genuine bonafide member of fab
Instead, she offered me an oily hand job for 50 quid.
I reported her and fab did eff all.

Wether it’s a woman or man or AI I’m almost certain this is a pretty unique situation in the grand scheme of things. I’m sure other examples exist but relatively isolated.

It's very strange she asked for a verification if she's got dozens. Many profiles have fake verifications but not normally dozens. You should have blocked and reported her after she asked for a verification when you haven't met. It's all a bit strange. |

Iv had this a couple of times , not the same messages , but chatted to women and they have asked me verify them , most had a lot of variations already and mist also said it would help us both !!
Hence why I don't ask for them and don't leave them for people ,
To me verifications are more for couples and club events and meets , they have gone from things like " genuine people , great laughs etc to just pure filth anyway lol , sex site or not , I don't wanna see what someone I wanting to meet has done with someone else , its fab swingers not adult work !! |

I can't see what she would have gained seeing as she was already verified, other than bragging rights from "meeting" you.
This happened to me from someone on the forums. They never asked for a veri, but left me one when I'd never met them before, then complained that I wouldn't display it 🤕 |

Report the user if you haven't already. Someone left me a false verification because they wanted to say something supportive to me and thought I'd more likely see it if they verified me. They were sweet and I appreciate they were trying to be kind, but it defeats the purpose of the verification system. I like my verification summary to be public so I had to report the user for it to disappear from my summary, which means the user will have been banned. I feel a tad guilty, but they shouldn't have left a veri.
It seems to be easier to get a false ceri than it is to get one from people I've met on a previous profile.
It does make me wonder how many verifications are genuine when someone doesn't have any public. |

I am noticing more and more men using photos that aren't of them. G**gle lens can be helpful in finding out who is catfishing, but I imagine the amount of men pretending to be women is much higher.
I think I'm just the type of woman men like to catfish.  |

FAB does seem to attract the weird and wonderful. I don’t think anything surprises on here now.
Even on the forums, some people aren’t who they seem. One popular guy claims his pics have been duplicated but he’s just got 2 single accounts in different parts of the country 🙄
Until you meet people, I don’t take what people say on here seriously.

I havent been to a house party for years lol so unless I have a doppelganger on here that I am unaware about or im sleep walking to houseparties 😅🤣 I do challenge these claims all the time.. it keeps me entertained most of the time lol |

Earlier posts say you can’t delete verifications, for whatever reason you may choose, but can get admin to delete them for you.
However, I did this once … I blocked someone that behaved a little strange towards me, months after they verified me, and instantly the verification disappeared.
Being a grumpy old man, I regularly block people for my own random reasons, often because they are way too young for my age range, after they viewed my profile. On a couple of occasions, the young viewers have realised I would block them, so hid their profile. A little bit clever, because ‘I cannot view this profile’ - no, but sure as hell can still block them , so continue!

I can only guess because some women aren't so lucky on here and are only able to meet below-average men, and therefore when they come across a supposedly 'aesthetically-looking man' they will do whatever it takes to feel vindicated of their inferior offerings. |
