Bowen, Wharton, Foden and Palmer
Instead of Toney, J. Henderson, Stones and Madueke.
Although Foden and Palmer didn't do much this season so I can understand why they didn't get picked. For years some fans have argued the players in form should get picked, not the so called stars. A few big names didn't get selected. No Maguire either. No Slabhead and most likely he won't be at another one. |

I agree that Wharton should have gone instead of Jordan Henderson.
Bowen has not been good enough for West Ham this calendar year (and I watch him live every week). Much as I love him, he has not been good enough to make this squad. (Imo, the same argument applies to Foden and Palmer)
You have taken out a centre back, replacing them in the squad with an (out of form) striker, be it Palmer or Foden, straight away unbalancing the squad. Maguire would be the likely Stones replacement in your scenario. (Personally, the only two players taken I would change are Dan Burn and Henderson, taking Maguire and Wharton in their place). |
