"Ouch. Pesky things!
Got me while I was sleeping without any bug spray on.
I have two on my wrist that got me in the night. We have a zapper in the bedroom but they must have avoided it 🦟"

A family member ended up in hospital on 2 different trips abroad because of insect bites.
Someone told her to take brewers yeast about 4 years ago and she hasn't had a single bite since.
I usually come home from hiking trips with at least one bite but haven't had any on the last couple because I took the brewers yeast tablets before and during the trips. |

Google says clinical tests show no repellent effect at all. There was some research that says it doesn't repellent, but it lessens the effect of the bites. But it's a harmless supplement, and products like Deet are not good for environment. If it works for you and others, I would ignore the research too
I have met loads of people who swear by the green Avon skin so soft spray. |

I've used the Skin so soft for years as part of a SAR team in the mountains and it works most of the time but I found I had to keep reapplying it and that wasn't always easy which is why I usually ended up with one or two bites.
On training days when lying out for hours on end it worked great. |

I rarely get bitten (so far🤞), just occasionally a horsefly gets me around midday. I got multiple bites one year in Turkey, and I found for the rest of the year I got bitten at home. I'm sure the damn things leave a trustpilot type marker on you...tried it...liked it |

"Screeeeeaaaaaaaammmmmmmm.
The flaming bites on my arm are itching sooooo much. Nothing stops it and yes, I have tried it all and NO ABSOLUTELY NOT to semen. "
Mine are less inflamed and hardly itchy. Still annoying. |

Lavender oil i swear by it
I react badly but if I rub a little on after being bitten goes in a while without any itching etc

Skin so soft is good. Aspivenin suction device if you feel em biting but had to get some penicillin as usual from the chemist to stop the infection.
Tiger mosquitoes are the latest evolutionary form of the rascals. |

"It could be horse flies?. I have lots of water outside and flies but I'd hate anywhere with horse flies
I think I would have felt the bites from a horse fly."
You'd know it; I was bitten by one in Germany once and it was evil. Glad I wasn't Down Under. |
