We’ve all experienced that moment of - I’m sure this was bigger when I was a kid when it comes to chocolate bars and the like.
But now it seems to be some sort of pandemic where everything is being affected.
Dove shower gel is now so watery it surely can’t identify as a gel and our normal toothpaste has become so thin that it can’t be stored with the cap down because it’s making hell of a mess when the cap is unscrewed.
Anyone found any other items that are just not the same?

Strawberry boxes you get at the supermarket at roughly the same price, but with half the volume.
Bagels that look 30% smaller than they used to be for the same price.
Tins of tuna that have less dry weight than previously for the same price.
I could go on and on. |

It's nothing new.
I worked for years in a warehouse containing up to 10,000 different product lines and there was never a day that went by where we didn't have to amend barcodes as a result of a new pack size or price.
Many times we could have 3 different pack sizes of the same product due to how often the manufacturers changed them.
It could have been as little as a 1g difference but they still had to be kept separate. |
