In a galaxy far far away

Got my film head on again.

Terminator 2 has to be up there.

Honourable mention for Game Of Death 2, the last half an hour is non stop Kung Fu.

Terminator 2 is one of the best films ever made… but you know another great action film Arnie did… Commando.

With such great one liners as “what happened to Salli?”

“I let him go”

And “don’t disturb my friend, he’s dead tired”

"The first John Wicket or Equaliser. Once you've seen one the others are little same old....."

I thought John Wick 3 was the best of the series.

I've seen No4 but didn't think much of it apart from the fight scenes on the stairs.

No3 had a lot of good spots in it.

All good suggestions, John Wick especially (maybe not 3 so much).

First Blood is a classic. Read the book if you can, it does differ from.the film so no spoilers lol.

So many to choose from, also it depends on mood. Right from intelligent action like The Raid, through to lazy comedy action like any Jason Statham. The Beekeeper was quite good. He took the mantle from Jean Clude.

Is Ronin action or thriller?

You could start an entire thread on the king of action, Arnie. The man is a god of action.

If we're talking Jackie Chan, I see your Rush Hour and raise you Rumble in the Bronx.

There's a scene that goes on for about 10 minutes where he kicks the ass of about 20 guys using everything around him

It's the best "bond" film ever made.

I really enjoyed Sisu, it's absolutely madcap and pretty recent.

My old git choice would definitely be Hard Boiled, though. There's something about Hong Kong grittiness.

Already mentioned ‘The Raid’ and certainly others like ‘The Rock’ ‘Terminator 2 & Aliens’ are up there.

To add another that doesn’t seem to appear is Dredd (Judge Dredd) with Karl Urban, why we didn’t get more of this character is a mystery to me.

Both excellent films tho and very different.
