I don't watch cricket. Comparing men and women in sports is pointless. They are not the same. The standards are not the same, the intensity is not the same. There are usually less teams and less players to choose from. So yes, less competition. There's a reason men and women don't compete against each other in competitive sports. It would be a massacre. |

I don't think it's necessarily about more or less competition but the quality of the competition you face. Whether it's out of 8 or 48 teams, there can still only be one winner and you need to be the best of them. |

The quality of the competition is also different. The quality of the men's is much higher than the women's. That's why it's much harder to win. |

It's relative though. I do agree that it's harder for the men to win their world cup, but the quality of the men's competition compared to England and the women's who contend with Australia and India who are powerhouses isn't as big a gap in quality as you'd think. |
