"after this coming week temps are back to the 30s for the next two weeks so i dont want to hear anyone say we had a crap summer.
bring on global warming!"
I agree it's too hot to be indoors.
Outdoors feels good though with a bit of breeze and shade, especially on forest trails |

I was actually starting to acclimatise to the heat, accept I was going to be a sweatbucket at work and anticipate my cool shower after work eagerly but then accept I'd get hot again. Haven't actually taken as badly to it as many seem to have, which is unusual for me as I'm not generally keen on physical discomfort. |

My flat sits at 16/17 it's been better indoors than outside watching people turn to beets and seeing all the cottage cheese legs on display. But yeah there will still be weather complaints, it wouldn't be the UK otherwise. |

Yeah we’ve managed to do quite a few activities in the last week or so…..
A few national trust places and then a day at Longleat yesterday and of course plenty of golf course visits (some new pics on our page)
We love the outdoors, but in near 40 degrees you have to be tactical about it or you just end up a sweaty mess |

I’ve got a fair few plants I need to get in the ground but unreasonably I have entered a phase of can’t be arsedness.
So when the heatwave arrives and I start flapping about my plants in pots dying, someone slap me. |

The weather has broken here and I'm enjoying the cooler temperatures. No doubt it'll be back up to 40° at some point throughout the summer but Ive booked in doing sod all for the rest of the summer. Lazy beach days and afternoon snoozes. |
