Sad to hear the news that she passed away. One of my favorites.

A loving symbol of British theatrical and TV culture, and now reunited with many of her co-stars. As dear Margot would say "It is a woman's prerogative to be late."

Her dressing style as Margaux is a role model for me.

I once met a newly transitioning woman who likes the "tomboy" look, pretty much like how Felicity Kendall dressed in The Good Life. Check shirt, jeans and DMs but with long hair. She looked like a Status Quo band member.

She was upset people kept calling her "sir". In her mind she looked like Felicity Kendall who she found attractive.

So as a statuesque trans woman, I suggested she should dress more like Penelope Keith's character Margaux.

She was a great actress. Poised, elegant, classy.

"Well that's the last time I play the tart for you, Jerry".

Brilliant stuff.

Cancer has no respect for anyone. Just hope she didn't suffer too much. Wonderful actress. RIP.

She reminds me of a time when personal and political differences could be a source of comedy rather than social media rage bait.
