I love architecture so (if this appeals to you also) would always recommend visiting cities showcasing our rich architectural past.
Winchester and York are two wonderful places to visit for such wonderful sights 😃 |

Go somewhere where there is no light pollution. It amazing. You’ve never seen the sky like it before. I went to the Outback in Oz to do it, but there are now place specifically set up for this. It’s very calming. |

Some of the smaller Caribbean islands: Barbados, St Lucia, Antigua, Anguilla, St Vincent and the Grenadines
Most of the smaller islands are safer than here and all have their own cultures
The summer months are their low season and you can get some really good deals. I’ve paid less for a week in Barbados than 5 days in Spain before now! |

Southern states of America.
Prague.
A few people have said Prague x"
It is really great.
I know people give America a bit of shit but the safest I've ever felt on a night out was in Nashville. |

I've just comeback from walking in the alps and would definitely go back again. Chamonix is a great location to explore. So long as you fly to Geneva, there are plenty of options and good transport links. Lake Annecy is a stunning location and is also very close to Geneva.

Two best places I've been to are probably Syria (before the war) and Brazil. I'll probably throw in Pakistan too tbh, but it depends what appeals to you. Pakistan probably not a great place for a solo woman on second thought. |

"Amsterdam, I went solo and loved it
Cornwall - beautiful beaches
Paris - cafes
Helsinki - lovely city.
Oh never thought of Amsterdam....hated Paris
Why did you hate Paris?"
I just found it quite dirty |

As long as its cooler I'm good "
I love it. Any time of year. Forget the skiing though 🤣. Just the apres ski for me |

My friend goes on a Cruise. Says it's very single friendly. I've been on a cruise in the past and think I would feel comfortable on there alone... So much to do and enjoy despite it feeling claustrophobic if you've not been on one before. |

Dirty in the sexy sense or in the squalor sense?
I didn't find it in the squalor sense. |

My 20 year old travelled around Asia on his own. Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos. Absolutely loved it, he was gone for 3 months. Met some good people doing the same and keeps in touch with a lot of them
For me personally, Italy... Absolutely love it there |

This!
Barbados is beautiful as is Bermuda, but I prefer Barbados. Cheaper too!
Most places in the world are solo friendly now. It depends on what you like- city, beaches, scenery and how far you want to travel.
I’m going to throw Vancouver, Canada into the mix. Beautiful! |

I can recommend a place called Soave in Italy. It’s about 45 mins by car from Venice. It’s a walled town with a castle at the top. It’s also lent its name to the wine produced there.
Great food. Great wines. Beautiful scenery.
You do need a little of the language though. |

How about Belgium? Either Brussels or other towns? You can get Eurostar from London and be there in 2h. In Brussels, same as in London, you don't need the car to travel around as public transport is great. Loads of history, waffles, chocolate . However, be aware that drinks in bars/restaurants are quite expensive for their size. |

I loved Antwerp and was a bit underwhelmed with Bruges. I think it is because my hometown is quite similar and I am used to it! 😂😂 and ironically enough, I’ve never been to Brussels. Have to correct that soon! But yes, lovely country, small enough to explore and not too far away!
St Malo in France- GORGEOUS! |
