I prefer the feminine voices. I'm not an expert but I've heard men have better range because they can go deeper and sometimes higher.

Forgot to mention any female singers. Dusty and Janis are the best two. Followed by a whole slew of 60s female soul singers, especially those on the Motown label bar Diana Ross, who only got where she was, as she was bonking head honcho Berry Gordy.
If I was to pick two Easy Listening artists, it would have to be Tom Jones and Matt Monro. |
