If you left here and came back with a new nickname.... would you be recognised from text alone ?
Do you have a style that sets you above or below ( let's just say apart ) from the 'ordinary' poster....
Like I say ... could you be detected in text ? Are you easily distinguished from other posters.
And WHY or WHY not ? |

I don't think many people would at all GC in my humble opinion.
I can only think of Nero with his writing style of the top of my head.
My first post of the day generally has a 'have a great day everyone' type note, but I wouldn't expect anyone to guess from that.

When i came back a forum friend suggested i came back as a silly name which i did for a bit of fun but then forgot that you couldnt change it back for a week 🤣 i was recognised but thats because i didnt exactly try to hide my pics so was obvious. I think if i totally didnt show myself in pics noone would be any the wiser  |

There's not too many regular TV/TS forum posters, there's a handful of us who post a lot, but not too many.
So I think I could be easily spotted again, maybes not so much by my writing style, but more so by the subjects or threads I contribute to and create. |

I'd like to think that I'd be recognised after a few comments on posts. I think a combination of my sense of the absurd and a tendency to overshare would give me away.
And my inability to refrain from using my country of origin as a basis for comparison.

Without pictures I dont think i would be recognised from my writing style if i came back under a new name. Maybe my often garbled spelling when I type too quickly 🤷♀️
But id say my tats would probably give me away as soon as i added a pic as they are quite distinctive |

Bizarrely I’m a writer, yet struggle to unleash my true writing voice on here.
I think it’s partly down to a lack of experience at this swinging malarkey, a wish to filter my comments so they don’t offend and an overall contradiction of wanting to stand out by blending in.
Seems I’m a mish-mash of insecurities and befuddlement.
Writing fiction is so much easier than trawling the psyche for the honest ‘warts and all’ posts and messages.
And kudos to all of you liberated forumites who yell it like it is. I admire it. I aspire to it. And I’m still a work in progress.
So the answer is no, no one would recognise me from text alone. But OP GC you’re instantly and gloriously recognisable. Keep up the good work.

As far as text and writing style goes, I don't think I stand out much differently from anyone else. I wouldn't say I'm particularly unique in the way I phrase things so other than from photos, I'm not sure I would be recognised if I ever left and came back. |

As AuDHD my though process and writing style/humour are definitely different. I would imagine it would be a fellow divergent who who spot the style, the same way I would likely spot theirs. Saying that, I would probably recognise Nero, Eva, Granny Crumpet and a couple of others |

I've been told that I've been missed on the forums, as I've not ventured in very much recently, but I don't think I have a particular style that would stand out, were I to use/have another profile. I think it was more that I would chip in to said person's chats |

I find that when I am in the screen "new forum post" I often press the back button on my phone and think twice, and say to myself "don't post that Daniel"... so, I probably don't have a particulary distinct footprint here. IRL, I'm have a quite unique and distinct identity |

I deleted a previous account and then came back
Obviously a different name, but also completely different photos, a different profile, mostly looking for something different.
Three guys that I had met on the previous profile recognised me within the first couple of weeks... |

One thing I have fine tuned over the years is the ability to spot female and couples accounts that are just single men.
In my experience men pretending to be a female tend to try too hard by what they say, bit hard to explain I think 8 out of 10 times I am right. Pic hunters normally |

I recall when K and I got together and started our couple's profile. We'd get messages from people trying to work out who we were. Some guessed correctly, others we kept them guessing for a bit haha

Interesting topic Granny. I don’t think there’s much distinctive about my writing style. A different name and different photos and I doubt I’d be recognised.
I do think some people give themselves away with their emoji use. The ones who repeatedly use 😇 when it’s utterly irrelevant. |

Scrap my answer. I would I've realised be immediately recognizable by my banging on about using filters and advising single men to start a couples profile with their partner who they are sure wants to be a swinger but is too shy/busy/afraid of getting too many messages/doesn't want to. |
