What happened to the user? With recent news reports about lack of action from the site for certain things, it would be interesting to see how they respond to this type of report. |

This happened to us. We were at an event on Saturday and had it in our status and on Sunday a brand new profile winked us then messaged to say they think they saw me at the event and they will verify me and hoping I’d say yes and then verify them in return. I said no and spoke to the organisers of the event who confirmed that they have no record of him attending |

Not sure why it would be such a big deal.
Absolutely report people for giving fake veris as there's risk to that. That's the big deal and you say you've done that.
But why does it matter if the counter is off by 1?
You don't have to display it or the veri contents.
Also if you block them the contents are hidden.
Where is the harm? |

I had this issue with someone who gave me a false verification. I too like to display my verification summary so it was frustrating that I admin wouldn't remove it initially. It took me reporting them two or three times and asking fab to remove it from my summary for that to happen.
I did feel a tad guilty as I think users get banned for leaving false veris, and this person was trying to offer support in response to something I posted, but they went the wrong way about showing support. A message would suffice. |
