I think you can change your filters to stop unverified profiles messaging you.
However I think it’s about time that verifying yourself becomes mandatory before being given free access to the site. |

it's a bit annoying. i have message filters on to block unverified but some of the accounts have maybe 1 verification from cam which allows them to get around the around the filter. would love if fab could have a message filter to block those without the photoveri specifically from messaging. |

It was a lot worse years ago when the site was newish. Fake profiles could verify themselves as it was the IP address that was used to check an account, or something like that. One time we were notified by a friend who was still on the scene that my wife pics were being used on a profile which was Meet Verified. It wasn't her and she had to create a profile, photo verify it to be able to report it. To be honest after years of experience, its not too difficult to stop a fake one these days. |
