"I'm afraid you're on your own with this as far as I'm concerned. I can't even put mascara on without missing my eyelashes completely "
I decided to try the lashes as mascara irritates my eyes. I may just have to accept my eyes looking bald |

OP I am rubbish BUT I have tried this new thing and it works better ( still learning ) magnetic lashes, it’s off Amazon basically you apply a eyeliner and it has magnetic properties, you wait for it to dry and then place the lashes on to the eyeliner and voila they stick, you do have move them around into place but they stay on! They have tiny little magnets which you can feel but you can’t see. Not too expensive and reusable. Maybe worth a try? |

What this thread is missing is some mansplaining. Unfortunately I know jackshit about eyelashes and mascara and make up in general. But I can tell you that the muppets EvaRose refers to is Janice. You're welcome. As you were. |

"I can put lashes on one handed while holding a glass of wine. Don’t hate me.
What do you use, yours do look lovely?"
Usually I use strip lashes as they’re easier to a bold look. The trick is to apply the glue to the eyelid not the lash, work the lashes (bend em a bit) while the glue goes tacky (a few minutes) then look ahead, eye close partly, stick on and press them firm into the lash line.
Peeps don’t let the glue go tacky, which is why the lashes slide around etc they should grab on son scratch the glue.
Finish with a smudgy eye liner to fill any gaps at the edges and blend the lashes in.
Done. |
