All of mine have had names, usually based on the start of their number plate. It all started with Polly the P reg Punto, there's been Bertie, Lara Zara, Val, Beryl and my current Lenny. Oh and the unnamed Citroen saxo because it was a horrible car |

My new van is Rodney the other ones Amos, the pick up is Bob my car is nelly and my bike is called Marley
There part of my workforce lol and without them im.screwed lol
The van iv replaced was called Ragnar, and im genuinely sad hes going 😔 🤣 |

I currently drive a van called Temperance or Tempy for short. My last car was Mindie, before that was Deedee and before that was Shelley. Originally Tempy was called Scotty but it turns out make vehicles give me as much trouble as men in general do 😂 so he became she! |

Reminds me of the Renault 5 ad campaign, which had the slogan:
"What's yours called?"
There was a Smith & Jones parody of it, with the same words being asked as Mel Smith is kicking his broken down Renault 5, screaming:
"You f****** ******** ******"  |

I name it based on the numberplate format. My old car was called MEV and current car is Axle (AXL).
Hubby's truck is Chuck but that's nothing to do with the numberplate, and his previous work van was Dave because we found a note in the van. However his old car was BJ based on the numberplate.
