I absolutely love Greek mythology. I was at the British Museum last month and just in awe of the Elgin Marbles - aiming to visit Acropolis soon!"
They are very nice but we should really send them back where they belong and will look even better I am sure  |

I wholeheartedly agree, but sadly there's a law that prevents it and given the Greek government have been unsuccessfully campaigning for their return for almost 200 years with stern pushback, I can't see it happening in the near future 😞 |

I love mythology. Read loads of books based on it etc.
I also like to believe that all of nature is connected in a spiritual way and that we need the natural world more than people want to believe. |

Greek statues have small dicks.
It was a sign of being intelligent.

The purpose of all the myths, fascinating as they may sound in their literal form is about the moral behind that. These are very much things that are applicable to today's life too. Like the Odyssey one is about the fact that untelligence, loyalty, and mental resilience are far more powerful than raw physical strength. |

The temple surroundings at BGHS in Brighton always reminds me of Greek mythology. Everyone in white robes (towels), surrounded by pillars and statues, eating grapes, relaxing in the pools, saunas and steam rooms, reading in the library, getting a full body tan outside on the balcony, and of course making love in the many private and communal playrooms upstairs. It's so easy to lose track of time there.
