after been a single dad for 3 year my daughter(4) was awarded back to her mother Christmas last year due to social services been a complete and utter waste of time, had a call from my solicitor today (after fighting for a full year)saying she's going to be returned back into my care !!!
to those that fight for there children hats off to you and to those that walk away I genuinely feel sorry for you

The year must have caused you all considerable heartache and glad to hear that it seems to be getting there. I wont say it's 'over' as it's just the beginning as I'm sure you will know.
Hope your little 'un is not too unsettled by the whole episode and settles back in with you quickly.
Makes me appreciate the amicable relationship that I have with my ex around our three boys. |

Excellent news!
After watching what my cousins husband went through for 4 years with private investigators, thousands of pounds and much stress and heartache the look on his face when he finally got full custody of his daughter was priceless!

I know somebody who had 2 children with each of his two consecutive wives. After the divorces he has no longer contact with them. He's now with partner no 3, and the second child is on his way.
I am so glad to see the other end of the spectrum here. Well done for hanging in there, so you can now reap the fruits. And yes, try to stay on speaking terms with the mother (probably easier said than done).
