I'm looking at a new mobile and wanted advice on which one to get. I can't talk on the phone just now cause I can't hear lol |

I now how you feel , haven't found any other phone yet , but put it on loud speaker if its not too private that helps,
im having hearing aids fitted next month so hopefully solve my probs ,
that may be the way to go, get a hearing test, national health aids are free and digital now , so very small and discreet |

ok soz about that mistake, so you cant hear even with aids , damn that means maybe it wont help me either |

I also have tinnitus doctors reakon with the aids it might reduce the tinnitus,
my tinnitus is very loud so will find out next month when aids are fitted |

How do you go about learning BSL. I'm hard of hearing but can still have a relatively normal conversation and use my mobile but would like to learn it at some stage of my life.
Any help will be appreciated.

Be careful what you wish for
To the OP have you contacted national deaf society? They have information about technology that can assist. For example a colour flash on the TV if your doorbell goes. There are telephone accessories which may help depending on which phone you use. Hope that helps xx |
