Wind up someone who has messaged you, who clearly hasn't read your profile, who is back tracking on everything they have written on theirs  and really seems to think we 'need' them  |

So basically you all mail people to wind them up and piss them off, with no intention of meeting?
How is that different to the 'timewasters' that people are ways moaning about?
Pissing people off makes them go piss someone else off. So anyone that does this is just making the problem worse.

Naughty you! I used to have on the first line of my profile in capital letters that I don't meet married men or smokers yet many used to message. I had a long conversation with someone who was a smoker and no message he sent was it appropriate to send a no thanks as it would have been out of context until he asked to meet then I told him I didn't meet smokers. He went mad and blamed me for wasting his time. Maybe spending a minute or two to read a profile would have saved this, not my problem. |

If it's wrong, then I've been a very naughty girl and should be soundly spanked....
... well I should be anyway, regardless...
But if somebody on here starts a message conversation with you, then it's quite fair to assume that they've read your profile and have accepted your limits - it's not your fault if they then ignore them...
And if they contradict their own profile, then they are effectively saying that it's ok to lie about things, so respect for them can go out of the window...
If they set the pace - it's not timewasting to merely follow for a while....
