Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

Oh, they'll have the same as me.

Its the 30th anniversary of Spitting Image. Should it come back? Or was it of its time?

I would love it to come back, but then the current crop of celebs and politicians do an excellent job of self parody.

The land of grey peas and bacon

I loved it as a kid but the puppets used to scare me...

The veg are all still workings as MPs.

Not sure a single sitting MP, would be worthy of being on such an excellent program though.

Unless of course you count Compo & Cleggy as a double act.

Bradford

Altogether now...

Hold a chicken in the air

Stick a deckchair up your nose

Buy a jumbo jet

And then bury all your clothes

Paint your left knee green

Then extract your wisdom teeth

Form a string quartet

And pretend your name is Keith

Skin yourself alive

Learn to speak Arapahoe

Climb inside a dog

And behead an eskimo

Eat a Renault Four with salami in your ears

Casserole your gran

Disembowel yourself with spears

Of its time unfortunately. Even looks wise it would be hard to distinguish one political puppet from the others these days. Now they would all be the vegetables.

I loved the special when Spock tried to rig the Oscars to get an award, hilarious send ups. With the current amount of 'celebrity' available I'm sure there's enough material!

It was a moment in time and I think best left there. It was brilliant biting satire though, alas most public figures are now far to bland to be of any interest.

Titz Towers, North Notts

I'd love to see it come back. There's very little satire on the telly at the moment.

I'd like to see it on TV again. We could do with more political satire on TV. Get people engaged in it a bit more.
