My late cousin, thought money bought you everything and loved boasting how much she had.
She never had what I had and died a lonely woman, an alcoholic at 44.

Agree and have seen that as well in family and friends - it is sad when people are unhappy and lonely despite material possessions, which can never bring happiness; then alcohol can become the only friend they have. Sad, really. |
