I think the message he gives is a good one, I admire the fact that he encourages young women to accept themselves for what they are and I like that he includes people with facial disfigurement or physical disabilities in his work.

i always thought he was from Bolton or near tgere. i met him once at airport check in...he was on my flight. he was chatting with me for a while. he was lovely. down to earth no airs or graces. he took time out to do autographs and pics when asked. |

I'm sure they do as in every show of this nature. It's more about the message he gives out for me, in a society where skinny youth is presented as the norm he represents (whether his own ideas or a production teams) self acceptance. If make over shows exist I would rather they were the kind he makes than the type Trinny and Susannah used to do in which first friends and family then that ghastly pair would humiliate some hapless womans dress sense, pick her to pieces then dress her like four pennorth of gawd help us. |
