Being a world cup year takes the edge off. Also I play more through the summer anyway which is more fun than watching!

when the season finishes, i turn off football.

not overly bothered with it not being around all the time.

just keep up to date with the shitty dealings of my own club in the closed season.

look forward to the play off games.

they are a lot of fun

I follow the championship (Division two in old money, lol) quite closely and there some cracking games and good teams in there. Looking forward to the play off final between Derby county and QPR.
