There are 3 events that I go to when I can.

LFF - Leeds First Friday, held on the first Friday of every month in, strangely enough, Leeds.

BNO - Big Night Out - held on the 2nd Friday of every month at Pink Punters in Milton Keynes, not far from you.

Notts Invasion - on the 3rd Friday of every month, in Nottingham, but very small scale.
