However, 'witty' comments could be sarcastic put downs which just makes the site an unpleasant experience.

true, there's no knowing how sensitive the recipient is.... Best that photos are left silent, point taken

You can with Platinum Membership, however, at present it is limited to commenting on UNLOS' photos.
