looking at all the replies on the single thread it seems we all like contact with another person ,lots dont want the crap that goes with it ,sums it all up for me

I think all humans at some point in their life likes contact with other humans, would be a very lonely old world other wise!

ok let me clarify i was in an abusive marriage stuck it for 22 yrs .so dont want ever to go there again ,then met another guy who was a bully too ,so dont know if im better off single or with someone cos not sure i can trust men x |

I understand you completely. Being in an abusive relationship brought on severe anxiety and panic attacks for me. I'm fine in a sexual relationship with a man but when things start to get too close I feel physically ill. I'm hoping over time that will get better. For now,let's enjoy our sexual contact xx |

well you have only met two men so you cant think they are all bad because of them. my marriage isnt perfect but i dont know any different because i have been with the same man for over 30 years, i havnt yet met anyone off of sites like this who i like as much as my partner though.
i think its best not to trust anyone, men or women, always be on your guard.
if someone bullys you let them know that you wont put up with it, or get rid of them straight away.

i was engaged twice before i met my ex, and previously dated another guy who i didnt live with but he cheated on me .
so every man ive ever known has treated me like shit ,thats why i despair of it all and dont know which way to turn x |
