Silly me...I've gone and pulled all the muscles down one side of my neck and shoulders..got deep heat on there ATM..but what's best to try next..ice pack or heat?? ...miss kitty xx  |

Ice and anit-inflammatories for first 3 days to control inflammation. Then you can use heat. |

I used to pull my neck all the time!
Ice it every few hours and take an anti-inflammatory to help with the pain.
I find a nice soak in the bath with some Epsom salts help.
Also a nice gentle massage of the area will also help

Sit with a bag of frozen peas wrapped in a towel around your neck and have an ice cold drink sat in the blazing sun...best of both! You'll look and feel silly with the towel round your neck but it works for me when I pull my neck (I'm a gymnastic sleeper, happens quite often) haha! Hope it gets better soon |
