What's with the gay references and jokes

I've noticed men in particular commenting on their distaste for homosexuality in the forums lately. Even making up jokes, are we not at a level of understanding that your sexual orientation is personal to the individual and reading comments about it in a negative and for comedy reasons is rude? |

I can't say I've noticed anything, personally. Whilst it's not everyone's cup of Earl Grey, the majority of the forum are open minded and have enough quirks of their own not to chuck stones.  |

There's a comedian called Wanda Sykes and she is a comedian and one if her topics was about the men today and if they were let loose with a vagina. She made a good case and I asked the question, would women feel comfortable if such a swap existed.

There's a reason some women don't enjoy it and some men do. Men have their g spot back there whereas women don't so for her it is a case of finding out if it's worth the intrusion.

We do have selective attention, so some people will be more aware of things that are said than others. It is absolutely right that people should deal with others, as well as with those in minority groupings that are also legally protected, in a way that is not likely to offend, hurt, intimidate etc. I would report something that I felt ran foul of respect for gay people. That said, I havent notice any recent rise in confous and negativity - but I an not the all seeing eye. |

I'm just curious... by this remark you assume women don't like anal sex?
Um... I hate to break it to you, but you're wrong. 
One doesn't need to have a G spot stimulated to enjoy sex, anal or otherwise. One doesn't require to orgasm to enjoy sex either. It's a bonus of course but I think your knowledge of how women feel while they have anal sex is limited.
And I've never seen any offensive comments... I know that I've never seen them because I wouldn't be able to keep my trap shut. I'm not afraid to speak up when people are being rude, either on a forum or in real life. If you find something offensive then speak up or report it. |

As much as we may think we live in a tolerant society, even mf swingers, gays, bis and trans are still not accepted by everyone as healthy and wholesome. That will also include users on fab, maybe especially new ones, who are not quite such a good fit with the values and mindsets of older users. Bigotry has no place in our culture and if a racially themed joke would not be acceptable then neither should gay ones. Someone may get a titter, but if it leaves someone feeling unwelcome and below others then it is wrong. It is not about political correctness but about treating others with respect and humanity. |

I've not seen anything derogatory or insulting to gay men on here. I'd comment if I did because I don't like discrimination.
As for the whole "g spot" thing, you're talking nonsense. Yes, women don't have a prostate and some enjoy anal sex anyway. Yes, men do have a prostate but a lot do not enjoy anal sex even so.
Asking a woman why she should enjoy anal because she doesn't have a prostate is as ridiculous as expecting every man to enjoy anal play because he does have a prostate. |

I can believe there may have been jokes on the forums. But, I would like to know what the distasteful comments were. I can't imagine one homophobic comment on here,(with it being a sex site and all) let alone enough to warrant this thread. I've never seen one. |
