Its my mom and stepdad's pearl wedding anniversary tomorrow (30 years), although they have been together 35 years. They met when my mom was 30 and my stepdad was 21 and absolutely everyone said it would never last, so my mom told me.

Congrats to them, a milestone.
We got married young and my wife was rumoured to be pregnant at the time as she was 17. Two years later we had our first child, very long pregnancy lol. We're now married 31yrs plus and enjoying it better than ever.   |

My parents were the same, my mom was 32 divorced with 5 kids, my dad was 17, everyone then said it wouldn't last, even my dad's mom and dad disowned him, but they were together for 42 year's right up till she passed,

Congratulations to your parents. I love reading about happy endings. My Mum was 13 years older than her partner (she was 51 and he was 38 when they met ) and they had 10 very happy years together. |
