Very optimistic prediction Shag'
Sadly I see nothing but a Bayern victory, and a handsome one at that. For the 3rd year, City have come up woefully short in the Champions League................how a good side domestically becomes so poor as soon as a foreign team comes to play is a mystery not even old Poirot could solve. |

Its all because city cant play as a team and aren't as good as they think . German football is years ahead of ours . Simple as that . 10 men v 11 . There can be only one outcome surely? |

Mmm ! As it was pointed out before . It really didn't matter to the Germans. Not that they would of wanted to loss . Of couse they would of wanted to win . But going down to 10 men after 20 minutes. City should of won . They did make fucking hard work of it and we have to say , they are no wear near to winning the champions league. Chelsea on the other hand ! |

Its great that city won tonight. Another English team still in it . But it wasn't easy. If it had stayed 11 v 11 . I don't think it would of been the same result. But city did win . Lets see how they get on against roma . They have to win that don't they? |

stoke are what i would call a real football team . Simple , hardworking players . Week in week out . Some of the so called big names should give it a go . i do keep thinking i should start to support a team like stoke . Do you get to go much ? |

Only occasionally. We've both quite busy weekend schedules.
Ok, they don't have marquee names or glamorous facilities, but from humble beginnings, they've not done a bad job in the top flight. |

top flight football in England should take a long flight out of here for the good of the national game . Too much big money and superstars . If we had a league full of stokes and Southamptons , how much closer would it be . It would make for great games . |
