Best to use the NCP in High Holborn

is a nightmare

M1 to Watford , jump on the tube to Liverpool Street or Aldgate East. It's an hours journey but quicker then driving.

There are quite a few places to park around there and as it's a Saturday you won't have to pay the Congestion Charge, so don't be alarmed by the signs. Commercial St (A1202) has a few smaller car parks, as well as a large NCP. There's a small one towards the Whitechapel end next to the Canon Barnett School which is about £7.00 for the whole day. It's down a tiny road so look for the School as you won't even notice it. That's a 5 min walk to Spitalfields. If full, ask them for the next nearest as there's one around the corner on Whitechapel next to a pub. Can't remember the name. Traffic around there will be fine at that time of the morning.

Parking in London is a lot better on a Sunday. Often you can find free on-street parking.

There is also an NCP.

I drive and park around there often and I have never had a problem.

As for places to eat - decide what you fancy and that will make it easier. The world of food is right there.

Or, just go to the Water Poet pub for a busy but lovely atmosphere and good grub.

It's the weekend. Parking on the yellow line is fine. However, i'd advise parking around the Brick Lane area. Not on Brick Lane itself, but on the side roads as the resident permits are from Monday to Friday.

..or, you can just give me the car and i'd park it in my private parking bay. I'd be your private valet who is just round the corner.

M40 is best i believe, if you want to come through Old Street and end up in Shoreditch easily.
