It's not as fun as it looks!

Today I popped to tesco. My knee was really playing up and I couldn't put any weight on it at all so hopping around tesco on crutches without putting weight down would have killed me.
I asked the security woman if I could have one of the wheelchairs. She suggested I use one of the scooters instead!
So I did.
I then managed to crash twice. Ran over some guys foot (and oh my gosh he was HOT HOT HOT!!!) then got stuck trying to get out of the self scan bit!
Worst part is, people were staring at me and giving me dirty looks! I left my crutches with the security woman so I basically looked like a fat person unable to walk for whatever reason!
Although the scooters look fun - they're not! |

I have to go to Tesco today too...I may feign a dodgy leg so I can try a scooter and let you know how it goes 
Did you get the hot guys number? Its an unusual way to attract someone's attention but I can see it could have potential...! lol |

Well it sounds like this scooter malarkey is actually a good way of running into (literally!!) hot people!
I think you should give it another go...only next time, have your phone ready so you can snap pics and/or take down their number. Its all in the planning |

Pretend you have a throat condition...then you can just wink and gesture at them
Oh and you could always use an iPad to write on and show them things like "I've lost my voice and I've also just dropped a sprout down my knickers...would you mind fishing it out for me?" |

I've tried driving my mum's one - they take a bit of getting used to. You push the go forward lever - nothing happens then it surges forward. You go to brake - nothing happens, then it starts to slow down. Many a time I've used my feet to slow the thing down before it hits something. |
