I'm glad someone's raised this.
I can only surmise people with sad lives trying to spice it up a little. I'm fInding them easier to identify now after a little experience.
No veris, gallery model type photos, little text, requests to be friends without even saying hello. Any other tell tale signs? |

It's probably a good idea NOT to advertise your signs for spotting fakes and timewasters in a public forum because then the fakes and timewasters will read your hints and tips and take appropriate action. |

In fairness Steve I really don't think these people make a whole lot of effort into research when making these profiles. I thought the benefit of sharing here to other genuine users might outweigh the risks should any fakers be privy to this thread. I will post no further ideas of my own, but let the users decide whether they wish to. |

may be an idea to introduce something that is on one of the other sites we are on,if you join as a couple/female the female has to phone admin to prove a woman is part of or is the member joining,if not it shows on the profile that they/she hasn't done so |

Having just joined this fab site, I am on other sites so not new to the game.
Fab is one of the best,
As frustrating it is to get started and verified there are less times wasters, photo collectors and bull shitters because of the verification system.
