They're back!
I know some people are a bit sniffy about them but without them the only holidays I would have had over the last couple of years are camping holidays.
So I'm getting excited! I'm thinking Italy for a week! Though I may also book a bargain basement 40 quid one somewhere in Wales as well - had a lovely time with a friend doing that last year.
Oh, and if you're not a fan of the sun newspaper (I'm not a sun reader) you don't even have to buy it to get the codes, just go onto mums net or money saving expert forums and search for the codes! |

Unfortunately too many people on this site are too sniffy about too many things, living in their own perfect little bubble.
I was brought up with caravan holidays and have some fantastic memories.
I hope you manage to book the holiday you want and have something wonderful to look forward to later in the year. |

I had some great caravan holidays as a kid, fish and chips and sandy feet good memories there.
Have followed suit and took my kids on many caravan holidays when they were little.
I have been on one or two sun holidays as well, i would recommend them.

"We've had caravan holidays, Sun holidays, chalet holidays too but I've never seen anybody get sniffy in the forum about any of them.
In my opinion inverted snobbery is far more common."
Previous discussions about these holidays have solicited some judgemental comments. Often about the supposed type of people who stay on caravan sites. |

we have been tenting, trailer tenting and now in a van for over 30 yrs and to be honest we've only once in that time had to complain about someone's behaviour on the site..
(them letting both staffy type dogs loose was possibly inevitable given the amount of lager being consumed but was the last straw for us)
anyone looking down on anyone for how they spend their holidays is probably to be best ignored..
hey ho.. |

I went on one of these last year, we had a week in Dorset and it was lovely, we were upgraded to a brand new caravan and it was really nice, it was on a good site quite close to Poole harbour, cost 30 quid each, couldn't fault it. |

When the Kids were young we had a few Sun Holidays and always had a good laugh, Only one bad experience in a Chalet which i think was last decorated by the Luftwaffe during the Blitz
As for foreign Holidays everyone has been a nightmare in one way and another so never again.

Shows my age when people say . sun holidays when we were kids
Ive been on a couple of caravan holidays in hasting and loads of old fashioned holiday camps and loved em to bits.
even saw my first shag through curtains in a caravan when i was young.
I think the only problem is they are so over priced in the club houses once you are there. |
