I was along with millions of viewers watching B.G.T last night and think the best 2 acts really did go through what do you think?
I was a bit gutted for the little girl but to be honest she did not sound as good as her audition (wrong song) but Susan Boyle is definitely a world class singer even if she is mad as a box of frogs hehehehehehe.you got to love her  |

I'll be very suprised indeed if Suasan Boyle doesn't win the contest. As you say she is loop the loop, but a bloody good singer
Yes it was tough on the little girl, but lets face it, she's too youg and God knows how she'd have withstood the pressure if she got any further. I think kids should be allowed their childhood without the added pressures of stardom at such an early age
Perhaps they should impose a minimum age on participants of the contest ?
So far as the dancers are concerned - dare say are were good at what they do, but not my cup of tea - but that's what it's all about - variety |

Talk about double standards,Amanda Holden buzzed the Belly Dancer,in what could only be a fit of jealousy.Then went on about how her fellow judges were obviously turned on by her.
The next thing she's openly creaming her thong over the disco guys!!
It seems even top totty like A.H get insecurity pangs now and then,lol.

I agree with you, let a variety act win as singers are two a penny.
The belly dancer wasn't really a belly dancer, just wiggled a lot, I can understand why men were dribbling ( mine included)but hardly a great act.
I thought the dancers were good, and although Susan Boyle has a good voice, all the hype over how she looks would have made me say sod that, I am not going on.
It is almost like saying someone who doesn't look the part can't have any talent.
As for the man with the chain saw and things haning from his ears.............eeeewwwwwwwww I feel sick. |

Susan Boyle has indeed an excellent voice, but she was a little off key to be honest the first 20 secs or so, she looked petrified, but once her nerves settled, she was great, think her nerves made her do the crutch thrusting at the end too towards Mr Morgan
The little girl was found out, the belly dancer who was beautiful and will get a job modelling if she wants, the violinist will get work too, the dance group were great.
Still lots of good artists to come yet, so she is not totally a cert, but would not bet against her although I think even Gok Wan would have trouble making her look good |

I do agree with the some of the children being a little too young for the pressure and the disappointments she was really upset but will be a future star I think.
The sax player was really good and will go on even after this is over as he is so very talented.
I am nearly 50 but so enjoy watching the dance groups this year all of them are so very good.
there are at least 3 acts that are deffinatley in the running this evening |

Agreed Susan Boyle has a great voice but would she have done as well if she was younger and prettier or does the "novelty" factor play a part too? Pretty much like Paul Potts when he won.

Susan Boyle is taking the mick out of the great british public and they are all falling for it, so well done to her for a clever marketing strategy.
A decent hair do, a posh frock and a bit of slap and she would not look anywhere near as grim as she does and would therefore lose the massive sympathy vote she is attracting. |

One thing that I really hate about the show, is the idiotic hand gesture that most of the contestants make as they leave the stage ...
Yes that's the one - where they pretend that their hand is a telephone .

The thing thats starting to get annoying about the show is that its becoming a song and dance contest.
The winner does go to the Royal VARIETY Show after all.Yet all the traditional variety acts seem to get knocked back in favour of song and dance acts.
Also where are all the impressionists, comedians etc?

Yes, I agree it seems to be becoming a song and dance talent show, but I am so glad that both the excellent dance groups Flawless and Diversity have gotten into the final. |

I think the whole top and bottom of it is - there are no decent up and coming variety acts, the new talent today seem to be focused on either singing or dancing, however to be fair there was a ventriliquest (spelling?) who didin't get through then there was the guy who attached dustbins to his ears ... I can just imagine Lizzy and Philip pissing their pants with laughing at that ...

susan boyle should not win this...there are a million singers that can sing average. the dance groups flawless and diversity , not that is telent..but althought not my thing ! BGT and x factor is all about making the panel mainly cowell and morgan cash...
well done to boyle for having the guts but never the most talented person in britain to perform in front of the queen ?...

Love the Greeks,what a refreshing change to see a young lad these days with so much unashamed love for his father and who isn't afraid to laugh at himself.Both qualities that are sadly uncool with most young kids these days.
We'd love to see them win but of course they won't.
What a truly likeable duo!
