My thoughts are:

"The universe or whatever deity is in charge this month does not want me to see this film.

I have done everything in my power to go see it on at least three separate occasions.

I've read the books multiple times. I have been eagerly awaiting the film since they first announced they were making it. I spent months waiting to see who would be cast.

And can I bloody go and see it?

No!

Unexpected sudden illness, problems with the kids, reading the wrong film time, etc.

Just arrgggghhhhhhh!

We'd planned to see it tomorrow daytime but the kids look like they won't be in school tomorrow now so we can't go.

I officially give up.

Discuss it amongst yourselves. I have no input.

Sob."

Arse End of the Universe, Cumbria

I went to see it with the girlies last week. It was more like a love story to me. I've not read the books and didn't find it hugely erotic. I thought some of the dialogue was cheesy to the max, but according to my mates, that was similar to the book.

Did I enjoy it? Yea

Will I go to next one? Yes

Would I do Christain or Anastasia? Most fecking deiniteky

i thought much the same (except i wouldnt do christian) found myself laughing at the dialogue and cliches. Not the best film but not the worst either.

as far as tittilation goes its ok and does the job ..

For a really great BDSM read, try

`The Storey of O ` ..

Considering how old it is now, its standing the test of time very well..

I've read it and watched the dvd and really didn't enjoy it. I don't see how great it is for bdsm.

Read the books thought they were trash so no interest in the film whatsoever and been told by a vanilla friend the "best" parts of the book have bern left out of the movie so its becomes more of a love story

I haven't seen it, but from what I have heard, if Mr Grey was a gardener, living in a Trailer instead of a millionaire, it would just be an episode of Criminal Minds

I see .

I've heard differing opinions and read quite an interesting article in The Big Issue about it last week which basically said we do men and women a disservice if we assume they are so easily led. If people are heavily influenced by films and books I'd be more worried about porn than fifty shades.

I liked the book so enjoyed the film.

Not sure anyone can be cast successfully as Christian Grey, saying that I thought they went well together.

Would I be a sub? No, but I wouldn't mind spending some time in that playroom
