Just been looking at tunes on YouTube and in my favourites is Manifesto by Roxy Music. Was watching the counter and Brian Ferry comes in bang on 2.31 so a two and a half minute musical intro! 
Anyone else know any songs with usually long intros? |

Private investigations by Dire Straights
And Bowie's Sound and Vision - at least it's huge given the length of the song.
There is also the bloke who used to wear a wooly hat (something Boy) song called Smoke on the Water. Lovely intro to that one. |
