I've just built a brick BBQ. Worked out sizes, to fit the kettle drum I had (for the lid) and the two grills I had, and I had one brick spare! Perfect!
Not remotely relevant, but it's nice to tell someone |

Thanks but I have just had some cheese on toast 
Now am going to hand someone a very small towel and help them get dry then measure the gap between me and the wall for future reference |
