Haha I'm sure he doesn't want to look at it, but if its hidden under the snow there's more chance of standing in it!

southampton-ish

no snow here yet but they are forecasting it for the next few days.School closures would not really have any effect on me as son is off school already with the chicken pox and waiting for the twins to come down with it any day now so they would be home anyways...lol

I may be Canadian...but I don't want snow until the school holidays for the kids to play in and then it can go again...I am soooo not a winter person

Yeah, that may be but at least you can carry it home if it gets that bad.

I HATE snow and my colleagues know I "don't do" snow. I've been off for a few days with the flu, everything still aches.

Decided to try and go into work. I live on a hill and snow everywhere: do I go up the hill for the 20 minutes uphill walk to the station or downhill for 10 minutes to the high street for a bus to the station?

A coughing fit had me sliding all over the place: I wouldn't get to the station in one piece no matter which way I went so back indoors snuggled under my 15 tog duvet and electric blanket!

It's snowed here overnight, I love it and will go for a lovely long walk later, to the kitchen to make some hot chocolate! Z
