Ok so I'm getting to see more and more women like the suited and booted look on a guy....

So question for you ladies

What colour suit and shirt and tie combinations do it for you?

I have 4 different business suits and a multitude of shirt and tie combinations....

LOVE a guy in a suit the smarter the better. Particularly love a three piece suit in light grey with a pale coloured shirt and a dark tie

Winter- dark suit with pale blue or pinstripe cotton shirt and plain dark tie that matches the suit.

Summer- linen, short sleeves, no tie. White or khaki.

All depend on how well you can carry it off.

I don't like baby blue or pink shirts,or thick stripes. I like the subtle look. Dark grey 3 piece,white shirt,dark tie. Doesn't have to be a tailored or designer suit,it can be a cheap department store one,as long as it fits properly it looks smart. I was seeing a very large man and I met him from work in London one evening. He looked really smart in his well fitting suit.

I've three suits, my unlucky interview suit - navy with a blue pinstripe;

a lightweight linen suit for summer;

and my kilt - three piece Prince Charlie, the full monty

Why is it called suited & booted? If I put a suit on, I usually wear a smart pair of shoes with it, although I could always dig ma wellies out

Bf absolutely loves a suit...All either Paul Smith, Hugo Boss or Ted Baker Endurance...With shirts, ties and pocket squares, cufflinks and tie clips coordinated. He's an amazing dresser.

I love a man in a suit and in particular a tuxedo...oh it makes me giddy!

I much prefer a darker coloured suit...but it's all about the way it fits, I quite like the tapered trousers that Paul Smith do. Oh I also love chinos!

Dark grey suits and white shirts are my preference. Any tie, so long as it's not hideous.

Always a white shirt when I wear one of my suits, and a fitted shirt at that. It used to be the case that the larger the collar size, the larger the shirt - thats a bad look, gets things that fit properly and you won't go wrong.

Shoes polished too. No point having a smart suit and shirt combo and then having dirty shoes, or worn down heels.
