I don't like this new trend of closed shoes worn without socks.
From the Foot Facts site:
"There are roughly 250,000 sweat glands on a pair of feet. Sweat glands in the feet produce as much as half a pint of moisture each day."
What happens to all that sweat in sockless shoes?

Have you noticed that babies always manage to lose one sock? I think it's their way of regulating their temperature.

I am tempted but I resist the urge for open shoes (and because I don't have toe socks so I would have difficulty with the toe posts.  )

I tend not to wear socks most of the time during the summer, unless the situation is inappropriate, but once the colder weather begins I start wearing them again |
