Someone know how the traffic looks like during the week, afternoon ?

I want to go by car there, leave Cambridge around 4.30 pm ... Any advice?

in Lancashire

Train, tube and train could be a lot quicker than road, depends on what your going there for etc..

Streatham is a bit of a to be avoided car wise, traffic is a mare at the best of times..

...Up on the Downs

You'll hit the rush hour, it would be a slow journey!

Use a live update satnav and take a sandwich!

At that time of day you should be OK on the M11 but its when you hit the M25 it will be rush hour trying to get round London so will take ages. If your in Cambridge I'd get the King's Cross fast train down and then the tube..

"Ohh ok... So Train and tube...And no Sexy heels "

Take your heels in a bag and change them as you get to the meeting place

. As others have said go by train or maybe delay leaving unto 6pm and you might avoid the worst of London's rush hour..
