Did you know that one of the first vibrators was called the 'Manipulator' and was steam powered! It was used solely by doctors to alleviate the symptoms of a dreaded illness called 'female hysteria'. The symptoms of which included anxiety, crying fits, surliness! the use of such a device was considered a last resort and women suffering with the illness were advised to ride rickety trains or ride horses! |

Hmmmmmmm Im not sure if it was invented to cure spinsters and widows of hysteria. I have a sneaky suspicion it was invented to relieve the doctors from aching arms.......all that thrusting. Poor bastards. |
