I have the same long body / short legs problem, means I can't wear any sort of one-piece item of any kind and 99% of basques and corsets are too short  |

I prefer corselettes, something that covers my tummy and backside. I prefer control wear items, I tend to add embellishments to them as I like ribbons and lace and these are ideal to lengthen a garment.
I don't like babydolls as they aren't very supportive and boobs don't look that nice in them  |
