Did you have a ritual.
If we where at my grandma's we went to church when the television shut down for people to go we would go home and have a bath and get every ready for school on Monday, as we got older I remember watching Sunday night at the palladium |

Ours was nans for tea (hostess trolley full of sandwiches and cakes)
Home for a bath
Get dry and warm in front of the fire
Cup of tea and a biscuit (club,wagon wheel,mint viscount)
Bed after heartbeat! |

Spend most of it outside in the garden or on my bike to avoid the bloody football, come in for tea, meat and roasties, listen to songs of praise (bunk), Bath, dry and pj's in front of the log burner with a hot choc... then bed.
not much has changed... except I won't subject my kids to songs of praise..haha! It's iplayer now. a Peter rabbit, maybe an octonauts and the cbeebies bedtime story, then lights out. youngest was asleep as soon as he hit the bed last night..  |

Sunday was always the evening dinner sitting together followed by Mum ironing all of my school and Dad's work shirts for the week ahead.
We'd all listen to the radio, usually a comedy show up to 9pm, then bath and bedtime by 10pm.
