Yes, Wales weren't great but England were also playing very well, so we didn't only win because Wales handed it to us.

At the end of the day the match just demonstrated again what is so wrong with the British/Noryhern game.

England won 25/21 but scored just one try and never looked like scoring more.

The end score was purely as a result of England being better at engineering penalties in better field position.....basically they were better at cheating and not getting caught.

Where was the open play? Where was the ball handling skills....? England won because Wales didn't turn up in the first half. A Southern Hemisphere side would tear them apart. They are still learning nothing!

i think the view they have of it makes it look probably worse than it was but i think they may still take action..

This is very very true. It's all well and good the home nations scraping wins against each other but judging by the standard of this years 6 nations alone we are still way way behind our southern hemisphere counterparts

Got to remember. This is a fairly new England side with a fairly new coach. So we can only get better. Definitely got some great players but still a lot to learn. But the future looks brighter then after the last 6 nations

I think it was a very promising start from a very new team. I'm interested to see where they go in future. There's a lot more untapped potential to be developed yet.
