Just wondering what people's holiday preferences are and why?
Our preference is apartment's on the basis that they are usually bigger, better equipped & more private.  |

My first priority is the destination and that can restrict the options available,,...
But given the choice, I prefer self catering type accommodation where I don't have to consider fitting my timetable around a pre-determined schedule ......  |

On business, I prefer to book an apartment. The rates are generally comparable to hotels anyway, and you get bigger rooms and more facilities, and often more discrete  |

Often check the prices. Some of the hotels I stay at cater for everything from self catering apartments to all inclusive. I have often booked an all inclusive deal for less than the b&b price. It pays to shop around. |
