One of those matches that whatever the result,i will be disappointed.
I am a Newcastle fan and would hate them to drop into the championship,on the other hand,i really would love to see Leicester win the premiership.
Will not enjoy watching.. |

You're a fan and it's a dilemma?
Surely a fan would want their team to win over all others .. Possible exceptions if it's a meaningless game for your team but given its so critical to the Toon it shouldn't even need a second thought surely? |

"Spurs fan here....need Newcastle to pull off a shock result "
I don't think it would be a shock result. .Leicester jittery and the toon buoyed up with enthusiasm now Mclaren (ridiculous appt) has gone.. |

"I like foxes much better than magpies. Foxes look cute. Magpies make too much noise and they're mean to other birds. Foxes are just mean to everyone but at least they don't eat their own. "
I prefer Rams, but obviously the wally with the brolly preferred Magpies |

Newcastle will be more concerned about avoiding defeat for the seventh time in a row to their local rivals next Sunday.
Such is the mentality of both clubs I've often thought their ridiculous rivalry could send them both down one season, this could be the time it happens.
Benitez has nothing to lose but potential god like status if he saves them, the same way Shearer failed that season he foolishly took control of a sinking ship.
On all known form Leicester should win comfortably tonight but I wouldn't put my house on it.
The OP is a true fan btw only a true fan would understand what he means. |

Much as I would like under ordinary circumstances to see Newcastle win and survive if they didn't and don't then at least they have nobody else to blame as it'll be entirely self inflicted.
Their recruitment policy has been an unmitigated disaster which was doomed from the outset. The whole idea of buying players the manager doesn't necessarily want in order to try to sell on later for a profit was a huge risk especially as in order to do it they are mainly sourced from lower quality foreign leagues..
How many of Newcastle's players would a top half of the table team even be interested in??
Wjinaldum..jaanmatt..any others?? Krul maybe if finally fit.
Poorest Newcastle squad I can remember since the 80's even after all the millions chucked at it. |

"I would agree normally, but is this not an exceptional, once in a lifetime piece of history about to be made?
I have spoken to a number of toon supporters who feel the same..."
There's no Newcastle supporter I know who expects to win.
There's no Newcastle supporter I know who wants so lose. |

As somebody who enjoys football in general, I'd love for Leicester to pull off one of the best shocks of the PL's history.
I also think that maybe, relegation would do Newcastle some good.
Benitez can't go wrong either way. If he saves them, he'll be the savior, if they go down, it's all McLaren's fault and he has a GTFO if they get relegated clause |
